Statement of Faith:

1. We believe that the Bible, as we have it in 66 books of the (Old Testament and New Testament) is divinely inspired and the only infallible and authoritative word of God ( 2 Timo 3:16,17 , 2 Pet 1:20-21, Matthew 5:18, 1 Cori 2:13 ).

2. We believe that there is one God, Creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible ( Deut 6:4 , Isaiah 43:10-11 , Matthew 28:19 , 2 Cori 13:14 ).

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, truly man. He died on the cross of Calvary as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He was buried, rose from the dead bodily, and ascended into heaven where is now the interceding High Priest, at the right hand of the Father ( John 1:14, Luke 1:35, John 3:16, Phili 2:5-11, 1 Cori 15:3-4, Rom:8:34 ).

4. We believe that man was created in the image of God. He fell into sin and was consequently separated from God. All men are sinners both by birth and choice. As a result, man is by nature depraved, under condemnation and unable to attain divine righteousness. Obviously sin brought death to human society (Gen 1:27, Ezek 18:4, Rom 3:10-18, Rom 5:12-18 ).

5. We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and complete work of Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only basis for the remission of sins (Eph 2:8-9, Heb 9:12,22, Rom 5:11, Acts 4:12 ). While it is essentially spiritual in nature, the benefits of salvation embrace the needs of the total person - Spirit, Soul and Body (1 Pet 2:24, 3 John: 2 ,2 Cori 8:9, 1 Thess 5:23 ).

6. We believe that the Holy Spirit is instrumental in :-

• Regeneration - that is the new birth of every person who responds to God's word and accepts Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:3-8. Rom 10:9-10 )

• The experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4, Acts 19:1-6 )

• Sanctification - A life of separation from the world to live a life of holiness, producing the fruit of the Spirit (Rom 12:1-3, Heb 12:14, 2 Cori 7:1, Gala 5:22 ).

• The operation of the gifts and ministries of the Spirit as manifested in the early church (1 Cori 12:1-14, Rom 12:6-8 ).

• Divine healing of the Spirit, soul and body (Matthew 8:16-17,1 Pet:2:24, Mark 16:17-18,Jam 5:14-15 )

• Deliverance from the power and influence of evil spirits (Matthew 8:16, Mark 16:17 )

7. We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgement of him and his angels (Luke 4:1-13, Eph 6:12, Matthew 25:41, Rev 20:10 )

8. We believe that the church is :

• The redeemed community of God's people for all time. It is God’s purchased possession with the precious blood of Jesus Christ (1 Pet 1:18-19, Acts 20:28 ).

• The priesthood of all believers. Jesus Christ is both the head and the chief cornerstone of the church (1 Pet 2:5,9,10 , Eph 2:20-21 )

9. We believe that the essential functions of the church are :

• To worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24 )

• To build itself up in love and in unity of the faith and grow up in all aspects in Christ, the head of the church (Eph 4:11-16)

• To actively engage in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ among all nations ( Math 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)

10. We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion for believers in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy spirit ( Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16 )

11. We believe in the Holy Communion, commonly known as the Lord’s Supper or the breaking of bread as instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ ( as the bread commemorate His broken body and the cup His precious blood (Matthew 26:26-29, 1Cori 11:23-30, 1Cori 10;16-17 ) . This ministry also reminds the communion of the body of Christ.

12. We believe in giving of our substance to the Lord as part of spiritual worship. The Bible teaches that our Tithes and our offerings must be brought into the storehouse (Local church), which is then used for the work and support for the ministry (Mala 3:10, Pro 3:9, 1Chro 16:29, Math 23:23,2 Cori 9:6-12 )

13. We believe in the resurrection from the dead of believers to external life and unbelievers to external judgement (Acts 24:15, 1 Cor. 15:50-54, 1 Thess. 4:16-17, 2 Thess. 1:8-9)

14. We believe that Jesus Christ will return to this earth personally, visible and bodily in power and glory to establish His Kingdom (John 14:3, 1 Thess. 4: 16-17, Acts 1:11)
